2023Getshow time set, focusing on young talents and launching multiple competitions

On June 29th, the 2023 GETshow press conference was held, featuring a new and exciting appearance. At the meeting, Liang Zhiyuan, President of the Guangdong Entertainment Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce, stated that the "Guangzhou (International) Entertainment Equipment and Intelligent Sound and Light Product Technology Exhibition (GETshow)", originally scheduled to be held from May 8th to 11th, 2022, will be postponed to May 8th to 11th, 2023.



Guangdong is the most important production base for entertainment equipment in China and even globally, and the products independently developed by Guangdong enterprises have become a representative of "Made in China". To meet the actual needs of the industry, the Guangdong Entertainment Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce has been hosting GET shows since 2011. So far, GETshow has become the world's largest professional lighting and sound exhibition.



We will summarize the valuable experience of the 10th GETshow, deeply cultivate the advantages of industrial clusters, and focus on utilizing various resources of the Chamber of Commerce according to the development needs of the new era, making new breakthroughs in exhibition area, number of participating brand enterprises, number and quality of exhibitors. "Regarding the 2023 GETshow, Liang Zhiyuan introduced that he will expand the scope of investment attraction on the basis of the original manufacturer based exhibition structure, Attract cross-border cultural and tourism exhibitors based on the trend of industrial integration. Strengthen the integration of culture and tourism, and create an immersive cultural and tourism themed experience hall. Jointly with industry organizations such as the Guangdong Provincial Stage Art Research Association, the Guangdong Provincial Association for the Promotion of Audiovisual and Lighting Technology, and the Guangdong Provincial Performance Industry Association, we will showcase new products, technologies, and applications in the industry through a "technology+art" approach, helping enterprises that are rapidly entering the cultural and tourism industry to fully integrate the entire industry chain and connect upstream and downstream resources.



For a long time, the shortage of practical talents has been one of the pain points in the entertainment equipment industry. Peng Miaoyan, President of the Guangdong Provincial Association for the Promotion of Audiovisual and Lighting Technology, stated that due to the limited number of professional colleges and high entry barriers, there is currently a shortage of professional technical talents in the field of entertainment equipment nationwide.



In 2023, GETshow will focus on supporting young talents in the industry. It is reported that during the 2023 GET show, the Guangdong Performance Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce will closely cooperate with higher education institutions and industry organizations to plan and host the first National Youth Lighting Competition, the first National Youth Tuner Competition, and the first Guangdong Province Youth Dance Artist Nomination Exhibition, promoting dialogue between new generation forces and the industry, and empowering the high-quality development of the industry.
